Stumbled upon Paint.Net again.... had a little fun with it.
This is Skua.... redesigned a little I don't like the flank marking might remove it but it looked so plain... He's Matsu's brother, younger by a couple of years. When Matsu dissapeared when he was still very young Skua was distraught... So when he was able to survive on his own he left his family to search for him and wound up in Icida. Lived with Kamatari for some time, and for a very short time Ninjuu lived with them after having a dispute with her mother that ended in violence.
Skua and Kamatari lived together (not in that way Kamatari is over 20 years older and Skua was in his mid teens at the time) for some time, and Skua would have stayed longer had Kamatari been able to get over what happened to Kuranama.
I considered recently Skua being Kitora's father and why not then I wouldn't have to have Rustfang who I was never particularly fond of, fits in better with the timeline too, because Skua was living somewhere in Icida at the time Ninjuu left... and they would have still been in contact. Rustfang isn't from Icida and that's a problem for the timeline... Kitora was born on the road not far outside Icida... the more I think about it the more Skua is suited.
Skua is my own.... and damn I should draw him more often it's a pity he's overshadowed so much by Matsu when it comes to importance in the story.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
