The (Southern) Forest Wolves (pictured here) have a real problem with their neighbours The (Southern) Plains Wolves. Plains Wolves are bigger then Forest Wolves and have larger packs, they generally breed twice a year whilst Forest Wolves breed the standard once a year. As you can guess from their names the forest wolves live only in forest and the plains wolves live out on the plains, however as the pack grows larger and food becomes more scarce they attempt to take over part of the forest wolves territory, this does not sit well with them and they advise the plains wolves to cut down their numbers. Eventually wars started over territory. This is devastating on both parties particulary the forest wolves who are already low in numbers due to a recent outbreak of disease.
I don't feel like saying much more on the matter... I'll post references for the characters in this picture who have no recent references soon XD
The BG is based off a photo I took down at the biketrack near my house.
Wow, I really like the story behind this, poor Forest Wolves....
But the picture itself is very good, especially the anatomy of the wolves and the background. He he, very nice idea.
